✷ STUDIO//PROCESS ✷
Indoor 'Studio spaces' of mine can exist anywhere there is a desk, chair and natural light. The thing that transforms it into a creative and intimate space for me is the array of collected objects and materials that I surround myself with over time. This process happens organically, automatically even - When I walk, wherever i'm walking to, my pockets find themselves heavier and my hands comforted by soft seed pods and smooth stones.
These collections are an integral part of my work, the energy that draws me to each individual & unique object weaves throughout my thoughts and ideas to form a never ending love letter. I cannot explain why I am drawn to these miscellaneous pieces other than to me they just make sense, they are what I see all day everyday and they bring me so much joy, inspiration and purpose - I couldn't possibly look away.
